Standard Chartered names Yusuf Demiral as global head of WRB data, analytics, and AI

Demiral joins from HSBC.

Standard Chartered has appointed Yusuf Demiral as global head, wealth & retail banking (WRB) data, analytics & AI.

The newly created role will see Demiral lead the bank’s WRB data, analytics, and AI strategy across end-to-end client journey.

He will collaborate closely with the marketing, digital sales, and client experience teams, the bank said in a press release.

He was most recently group head of data analytics and customer relationship management (CRM) for Wealth and Personal Banking at HSBC.

He will join Standard Chartered on 7 July 2025 and will be based in Hong Kong.
