Zhiguo Ma
Zhiguo Ma is the Founder and CEO of WooshPay, a next-generation payments infrastructure platform designed to make cross-border transactions seamless for emerging markets, founding the company in 2021 with the mission of removing the barriers that exclude billions of consumers and businesses from the global economy.
Prior to this, he spent over 11 years at Alibaba and Alipay, including as General Manager of the Alipay Consumer Division and a key role in developing the Alipay Wallet, leading a technology team of hundreds to build scalable systems supporting payment infrastructure accessible to up to 190 million users per second, and holds a master's degree in software engineering from Zhejiang University, and is currently based in Singapore.
