Shripad Vaidya heads the Global Retail Banking Practice at Polaris Financial Technology Ltd. He has many years of experience in Retail Banking and new generation Online Banking Channels including social media.
Shuang Tao
Shuang is member of SAS Risk & Finance Advisory team for Asia Pacific, with over 20 years experience in systems implementation, and 8 years experience in Financial Risk Management. Shuang gained her FRM and SCR (Sustainability and Climate Risk) certification in 2020. Currently, Shuang leads the Solvency ll and Climate Risk initiatives for SAS in Asia Pacific.
Shuang has extensive experience as a subject matter expert in Risk Management including IFRS17, IFRS9 and Stress Testing. Shuang has also has key project implementation roles for Credit Risk Management systems and AML for several Mega-Banks in Japan.
Shuang has a masters degree in Decision Support Systems, and joined SAS in 2010 from Sony and Canon where she was an expert in supply chain information management. She also has experience of doing Data Analysis for Retail, Transition and Telecommunication industries in Japan.
Shuang grew up in China and now resides in Japan. She enjoys ballet dancing and reading.
Shuang Yang
Dr. Shuang is a Senior Director and the Head of Machine Learning at Ant Group. He's dedicated to build the machine learning technologies that enable Ant to provide a wide spectrum of financial services (payment, banking, credit, loan, insurance, wealth management) to 1.2 billion users around the world.
Before joining Ant, Dr. Shuang was the Cofounder and Chief Scientist of Operator Inc. (2014-2017), where he created the world's very first conversational bot for e-commerce (shopping concierge). Prior to that, he was the Lead Scientist and a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Twitter, where he led Twitter's machine learning infrastructure, content understanding, personalization and recommendation (2012-2015).
Dr. Shuang earned his Ph.D from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the recipient of multiple awards including Best Paper Awards from ACM SIGIR (2011), UAI (finalist, 2010), PAKDD (2008) and CCAI (2008), a Facebook Fellowship (finalist, 2011), a Yahoo! Key Scientific Award (2011), and the President's Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2008).
