Jidong Chen
Dr. Jidong Chen is General Manager of ZOLOZ, the Trusted Identity Platform of Ant Group, where he is responsible for research and development, as well as application of biometric identification.
Dr. Chen leads a team at Ant Group that applied biometric technology to the identity and authentication use cases for hundreds of millions of Alipay and MYbank users. He also led a team that applied “Smile to Pay” technology to the KFC chain of restaurants, a project which was selected as one of 2017’s breakthrough technology in MIT Technology Review.
Before joining Ant Group, Dr Chen was Chief Data Scientist at Renren Games and the head of data analytics at EMC Labs China, where he was responsible for research and advanced development projects in data management and analytics.
