SCB names ex-Citi banker as new SVP and chief wholesale banking officer

Parksuwan has worked for Citi Thailand and HSBC Bank Thailand.

Thailand’s Siam Commercial Bank has named Tanapot Parksuwan as senior executive vice president and chief wholesale banking officer.

In his new role, Parksuwan will develop financial and investment products that are expected to foster growth and wealth creation for SCB’s clients.

Parksuwan took over the role on 18 December 2023. He leads the team responsible for steering the operations of SCB’s Wholesale Business Group. 

Parksuwan brings over 30 years of experience working in the financial industry. Prior to joining Siam Commercial Bank, Mr. Tanapot held the position of managing drector, head of Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory at Citibank Thailand. He also played a pivotal role at HSBC Bank Thailand, where he held the highest position as managing director, head of Global Banking.
