DBS and Stripe partner to capture Asian cross border payments
Stripe will leverage DBS’ digital banking capabilities and DBS will explore the use of the Striple platform.
DBS and Stripe have announced a strategic partnership with the goal of accelerating agentic commerce growth and cross-border payments in Asia.
The two organisations aim to help businesses collect, move, and manage funds more seamlessly across markets, combining DBS’ banking capabilities and pan-Asia connectivity with Stripe's programmable financial services, according to an announcement on 27 August 2026.
Stripe will be able to leverage DBS’ digital banking capabilities to provide merchants on its platform enhanced cross-border payment capabilities, using DBS’ money movement and cash management solutions.
DBS, meanwhile, will explore using Stripe’s global platform and embedded finance solutions to expand its cross-border network and enable its institutional clients to connect with more customers worldwide.
