Crédit Agricole appoints Prateek Bajaj as Asia energy head

He will oversee structured financing and advisory services from Hong Kong.

Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Prateek Bajaj as head of its Energy & Infrastructure Group for Asia, effective 14 September.

He succeeds Romain Voisin, who has been named Global head of Infrastructure in London.

Based in Hong Kong, Bajaj oversees structured financing, advisory, and debt arranging services for clients across the power, infrastructure, resources, and industry sectors in Asia.

His role focuses on advancing sustainable finance, supporting the region's low-carbon transition, and expanding into developing markets.

Bajaj reports to Edouard O'Neill, head of Energy & Real Assets for Asia Pacific and CEO of the Hong Kong branch, and Jean-François Grandchamp des Raux, Global head of Energy & Infrastructure Group.

He originally joined Crédit Agricole CIB in 2024 as Managing Director within the same team, following a 17-year career at Rabobank handling risk and project finance across India and Hong Kong.
