A total of S$400m was invested by its shareholders, the neobank said.

It attributed this to the “recent spate of competitive rising rates by local banks.”   RHB Singapore has joined the bandwagon of local banks that have raised the interest rates for their deposit accounts.

It has launched a savings account with a customizable pockets feature.

The bank bagged five major awards for their business projects and initiatives. 

The facility is collateralized by SME loans by Validus’ Singapore arm.

This is despite MAS moving to tighten retail investors’ access to crypto.

The features will be rolled out to clients outside of Singapore, Hong Kong at a later stage. 

It will use the money to extend more loans to SMEs in Southeast Asia.

The number of BTC and ETH bought also rose by over 50%.

A total of 32,000 OCBC customers are expected to participate in the study.

Processes affected include the creation of invoices, uploading and validation of supporting documents. 

Digitalisation shouldn’t just be limited to processing automation – it can significantly  improve customer experience.  

The superapp aims to support small businesses and upskill the future workforce.

It operates buy now pay later platform Atome and Indonesia’s Kredit Pintar.

This includes users of Mastercard and Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards.

This makes OCBC the first bank to enable this outside of the CPF website.
