Hang Seng Bank, Mastercard launch new multi-currency debit card for businesses

It offers instant debit, secure exchange rates, and free transaction fees.

Hang Seng Bank, in collaboration with Mastercard, has launched a new multi-currency debit card for businesses.

The Hang Seng Commercial Multi-Currency Debit Mastercard offers instant debit to boost digitalisation and payment efficiency for commercial customers.

It also offers secure exchange rates as well as zero transaction fees for local and international payments in 12 currencies.

“Cross-boundary share of the commercial payments market is already reaching around 14% and expected to continue growing rapidly. With a year-on-year growth rate of 60% for commercial cards from 2023–2024, this fully demonstrates the immense development potential of the market,” Helena Chen, senior vice president and general manager at Mastercard Hong Kong & Macau said.
