Filipinos spent 49 years in total using non-bank digital lending applications in 2024, according to an analysis from Digido.

This is equivalent to about 1.54 billion seconds or 25.67 million minutes.

On average, active users were said to spend approximately 12 minutes and 14 seconds per month using these apps in 2024. The average duration of a user’s sessions was around 58 seconds.

Over 76.5% of this time is spent using platforms specializing in personal loans, followed by buy now pay later (BNPL) services at 21.4%, and installment loans at 2.2%.
