By then, OCBC app users can pay via Alipay, Weixin Pay, and UnionPay.

OCBC customers can now scan-and-pay in all merchant QRs in mainland China using their Singapore mobile banking app.

The Singapore-headquartered bank— and one of the largest banks in Southeast Asia— has partnered with UnionPay International, enabling the NETS infrastructure to support payments to merchants that accept Weixin Pay or WeChat Pay, according to a press release on 1 December 2025.

The Weixin Pay capability will be rolled out in Q1 2026.

Currently, OCBC app already has the ability to scan and pay Alipay+ and UnionPay merchant QR codes.
