IndusInd Bank eyes improving CASA ratio to 40%

It also plans to double its loan book and customer base.

According to Maybank Kim Eng, after successful completion of planning cycle (PC) 3; IndusInd Bank (IIB) unveiled its next phase of PC. PC4 is between 2017-2020. IIB aims to double its loan book and customer base (target of 20m) and improve CASA ratio to 40%.

"In PC4, the bank aims to re-balance its loan book between wholesale and retail loans to 50:50, from 60:40 now. It would step-up micro lending, bring down costs through efficiencies and improve digital platforms."
