PH central bank warns of entity impersonating UNA Financing Corp

The legitimate business UNA said it is not connected to the entity.

The Philippine central bank has warned against an entity that is fraudulently using the UNA Financing Corporation’s name as well as misusing the central bank’s name and logo.

In a statement, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) said that a fraudulent entity using UNA’s name has used BSP’s logo, as well as names of BSP personnel, without authorization.

UNA has separately issued advisories clarifying that it is not connected with the said misrepresentation.

BSP and the legitimate business entity UNA have agreed to intensify their collaboration to safeguard the public against frauds and scams.
