Bank of Singapore unveils new platform for donor-advised funds
Clients may choose from managed portfolios, pre-approved funds, or grant-making DAFs.
Bank of Singapore has launched Legacy of Giving, a platform providing its clients access to donor-advised funds (DAF).
Clients may choose from a range of the bank’s managed portfolios and funds pre-approved by the Community Foundation of Singapore (CFS) and TT Foundation Advisers (TTFA), or grant-making DAFs that do not have an investment component.
Clients are offered what the bank calls a “bespoke DAF arrangement”, with clients able to shape the fund’s investment approach. In comparison, most DAF arrangements offer only a pre-set list of investment solutions, Bank of Singapore said.
DAFs are structured vehicles that enable donors to direct capital to charitable causes
and recommend the size and timing of grants.
DAFs are expected to increase fivefold between 2025 and 2030, the bank said, citing a 2024 report by Wealth Management Institute.
