HSBC Trust and Fiduciary Services’ assets jump 40% in five years

HSBC’s Trust and Fiduciary Services (TFS) business marked its 80th year of operations in Hong Kong and Singapore.
The TFS business was established in the two cities in 1946. It provides and administers wealth and succession planning solutions, HSBC said in an announcement in September 2026.
HSBC’s TFS business has over 300 employees in Asia, and the bank said that assets under administration increased by over 40% over the past five years.
Services offered include trust administration, charitable trust administration, probate and estate administration. It also offers family governance, family office and philanthropy advisory.
One service is the HSBC Private Bank Prism Advisory service, which offers portfolio and risk analytics alongside investment advice. HSBC’s trust Assets Under Management (AUM) covered by Prism Advisory grew by more than 50% year-on-year in 2025.
