Citi adds ESG scores into data platform Citi Velocity Clarity

The bank has developed new tools to analyse sustainability measures.

Citi has incorporated ESG scores into its securities data platform, Citi Velocity Clarity. This now allows clients to accurately analyse the sustainability exposure of their holdings at both the portfolio and security levels.

It had recently upgraded the platform with enhancements to available data, reporting capabilities, and API functionality.

The bank has developed new visualization tools to analyse multiple sustainability measures provided on a daily basis by Arabesque S-Ray, a global data provider that uses an algorithmic methodology to measure ESG performance.

Citi also recently announced the launch of its Citi ESG World Indices, composed of ESG performers from across the global markets, based on Arabesque’s ratings.
