DBS partners with Austrade to help Australian companies expand into SEA

DBS will provide advisory services, financial planning, and risk management.

DBS has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) for the expansion of Australian companies and investors into Southeast Asian markets.

The Singaporean bank said that it will assist Australian companies and investors to expand into its markets in SEA, including Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Under the agreement, the partners will make available a suite of resources including market insights and regulatory guidance, as well as facilitate connections with regional partners and industry leaders to unlock commercial opportunities.

DBS will provide advisory services such as support on market entry strategies, financial planning and risk management.

DBS and Austrade are also organising an investor roundtable in Sydney for Q3 2025.

The MOU was announced in conjunction with DBS’ Sydney branch’s 10th anniversary.
