Eximbank names Trang as CEO

Pham Thi Huyen Trang took office on 1 August.

Vietnam's Eximbank has appointed former chairwoman Pham Thi Huyen Trang as CEO, following a series of senior management changes at the lender.

Trang assumed the role on 1 August, replacing Tran Tan Loc, who resigned a day earlier for personal reasons, the bank said.

Her appointment follows the election of former Techcombank CEO Nguyen Le Quoc Anh as chairman of Eximbank's board in late July.

Trang holds a master's degree in finance and banking. Before joining Eximbank, she spent 12 years in senior management roles at Vietbank and also worked at Sun Group and Deo Ca.

She served as Eximbank's chairwoman from December 2025 until July 2026.
