CITIC Bank International anticipates high double digit growth in tax loan

More cash-milking loan projects underway.

According to Barclays, CITIC Bank International Executive Director and Alternate Chief Executive Officer Helen Kan said the mortgage market probably will slow down this year as property curbs launched by the government has brought challenges to the market. In addition, he added that the bank will develop other loan business and expects a high double digit growth in tax loan this year.

The bank has also issued over 50,000 credit cards so far, Kan said, expecting the number of new card issue to grow by a five-digit in 2014.
