UOB floats TMRW in Indonesia

The digibank was first rolled out in Thailand in 2019.

UOB has launched its digibank TMRW in Indonesia, according to an announcement.

First launched in Thailand in 2019, TMRW aims to simplify banking through translating transaction data into insights such as prompts to help clients save better, drawing features from AI and data analytics.

Opening an account will only take nine minutes, complete with identity verification via a video chat with a live agent. Customer queries are handled by TMRW’s 24-hour chatbot named TMRW Intelligence Assistant (TIA) that talks in Bahasa Indonesia.

TMRW also offers QR code payments, part of UOB’s support towards Bank Indonesia’s National Non-Cash Movement.
