Citi hires three FX Options traders in Singapore

Eric Poon has been named director of the FX EM Options Asia trading team.

Citi has appointed three senior traders for its FX Options franchise in Singapore.

Eric Poon has been named the director of Citi’s FX EM Options Asia trading team, based in Singapore.

Poon has 20 years of trading and business development experience, having previously worked for BNP Paribas, OCBC, and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Poon holds a master of engineering in financial engineering from Princeton University.

Richeng Zheng joins as a G10 Options trader.

Zheng joins from Bank of America, where he served as the sole G10 options book runner in the Asia time zone. He started his trading career in Nomura, where he worked for over 12 years.

Zheng holds a master of science in computational finance from Carnegie Mellon University.

Ying Zhou joins as an EM Options Trader in August, bringing with her 9 years of experience in EM FX trading and a strong expertise in Asia emerging markets exotic derivative and FX Oprtions trading.

Zhou joins from Deutsche Bank (Singapore). She started her career at Credit Agricole CIB in Hong Kong.

She holds a Grande École Master in finance from ESCP Europe.
