Schroders Wealth names Peter Flavel as Asia chair

Flavel was chief executive of Coutts and was CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Wealth in Asia.

Schroders Wealth Management has appointed Peter Flavel as chair and independent non-executive director of the board of Schroder & Co (Asia) Limited.

Flavel established Standard Chartered’s global private bank and later served as CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Wealth Management for Asia. He was most recently chief executive of Coutts.

Flavel will work closely with Evonne Tan, CEO of Schroders Wealth Management, Asia.

Flavel and Tan are expected to focus on strengthening the firm’s position across Asia, deepening client relationships and accelerating long-term growth, Schroeders Wealth Management said.
