Crédit Agricole CIB appoints Nicolas Vix as APAC senior regional officer

Vix has been with the bank since 1988 and was named senior country officer for China in 2019.

Crédit Agricole CIB has named Nicolas Vix as senior regional officer for Asia Pacific, effective 1 September 2026.

Vix will oversee the bank’s APAC franchise in the region and is tasked with pursuing the development of its activities serving corporate and financial institution clients.

Vix has held senior roles in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Paris. He joined Crédit Agricole CIB in 1988, beginning his career in Beijing, China with Banque Indosuez. He was appointed senior country officer for China in 2019.

He joins Crédit Agricole CIB's Executive Committee.

Vix succeeds Jean-François Deroche, who is retiring.

Crédit Agricole CIB set a “strong growth ambition” for the region for 2025 to 2028, as set forth in its Strategic Plan ACT 2028, the bank said.
