UOB Private Bank hires Dominique Boer as ASEAN regional market head

UOB Private Bank has appointed Dominique Boer as managing director, regional market head, ASEAN effective 17 September 2026.

Boer is tasked with leading the growth and strategic development of UOB Private Bank’s ASEAN franchise.

Boer brings over 35 years of financial services experience in her role. She previously held senior leadership roles in the private banking business across Asia Pacific.

UOB serves over eight million customers in the ASEAN region, operating primarily across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

The bank sees significant opportunity in regional wealth flows, with Asia’s share of global private wealth expected to reach US$99t by 2029.
