Citi names Goldman's Mascanzoni as ANZ technology capital markets lead
Cristina Mascanzoni previously worked on a Zip equity raising and a cross-border sale.
Citi has appointed Cristina Mascanzoni as director and technology lead for the capital markets and advisory team in Australia and New Zealand.
Mascanzoni joins from Goldman Sachs, where she is said to have advised clients in a broad range of transactions.
These include Zip’s equity raising and Afterpay’s cross-border sale to Block, Citi said.
In her new role, Mascanzoni will lead Citi’s technology coverage efforts and partner closely with sector, product, and offshore teams to meet the needs of Citi’s technology clients.
Locally, the Citi team is supporting Blackstone on a potential IPO of a portfolio of Airtrunk assets on the Singapore Exchange, Citi said. It is also the sole lead manager on Gilmour Space’s pre-IPO funding.
Citi had also announced the appointment of three senior traders for its FX Options franchise in Singapore.
In Thailand, Citi inked a memorandum of understanding with the local Board of Investment (BOU) to provide financial solutions to multinational corporations (MNCs) setting up operations in the country.
