DBS taps industry veteran Jonathan Larsen for board seat

Before DBSH, he was the Chief Innovation Officer of Ping An Group.

DBS Group Holdings (DBSH) has appointed Jonathan Larsen to the Boards of DBS Group Holdings and DBS Bank.

Before DBSH, he sat as the Chief Innovation Officer of Ping An Group as well as the Chairman and CEO of the Ping An Global Voyager Fund from May 2017 until February 2026.

He was responsible for bringing new technologies, platforms and business models to support Ping An’s growth in China and internationally.

He also spent 18 years at Citigroup, where his last role was Global Head of the firm’s retail banking and mortgage businesses.

Other senior roles he held in Citigroup included the Region Head of the Asia Pacific Consumer Business and Country Head of Singapore.

DBSH said Larsen's experience in financial services, along with his track record in driving business growth through technology and innovation, will strengthen the composition of the DBS boards.
