Citi partners HDBank to boost Vietnam trade finance

They plan to share insights and organise training programs and workshops.

Citi has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank) to expand cooperation in a range of banking and financial services.

Services covered include banking, treasury and risk management, capital markets, trade finance, payments, foreign exchange, and derivatives.

The two institutions said they plan to enhance the sharing of global market insights, exchange expertise, and organize training programs and workshops on relevant financial topics.

Citi and HDBank plan to expand opportunities for Vietnamese businesses to connect with international markets, sources of capital, and global financial ecosystems.
