Citi names Morgan Stanley's Michael Zezas as head of research
Zezas was a managing director and the deputy global head of research for MS.
Citi has appointed Michael Zezas as head of research.
Zezas joins from Morgan Stanley, where he worked for two decades, and was a managing director and the deputy global head of research. Zezas was responsible for both equity and fixed income research globally.
Zezas has leadership experience across asset classes, regions, and market cycles, according to Citi.
David Livingstone, chief client officer at Citi, said that the bank will continue to build its research capabilities through attracting top talent, investing in digitisation and automation, and enhancing how the bank develops, delivers, and commercialises insights.
Livingstone thanked Rob Rowe for his role as interim head of research during the transition.
