Krungsri partners Thailand Post to co-develop financial and insurance products
The Thai bank will use the postal carrier service to develop new offerings.
Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) has announced a strategic partnership with Thailand Post Co., Ltd. to offer financial and insurance offerings in the postal network.
The two companies will co-develop new financial and insurance offerings through the postal carrier service, according to a statement in late June 2026.
A pilot program launched in late 2025 involved Thailand Post’s postal carriers verifying addresses for Krungsri personal loan applicants in remote areas or locations without bank branches.
The partnership named three strategic dimensions: financial solutions and support of insurance business, data empowerment, and network synergy.
“While our areas of expertise and lines of business differ, we are jointly exploring opportunities and developing new innovations to better meet customers' financial and lifestyle needs,” said Krungsri president and CEO Kenichi Yamato.
Krungsri and Thailand Post plan to jointly draw data-driven insights and use these insights to improve customer experience.
They also laid out plans to leverage the “combined infrastructure of both organizations to generate business value while delivering maximum benefits to consumers.”
Krungsri and Thailand Post expect to generate concrete results by 2027.
