Maybank arms relationship managers with new AI advisory tools

Advisor Assist gives insights, portfolio risk analytics, and next action recommendations.

Maybank is deploying AI-powered advisory tools to strengthen its wealth management capabilities.

The Malaysian banking giant is implementing Advisor Assist, an AI-powered wealth advisory platform built by Evooq, a wealth technology provider.

Advisor Assist gives insights, portfolio risk analytics, and next-base-action recommendations to relationship managers (RMs).

It will provide the bank’s RMs a unified view of client portfolios, investment opportunities and actionable insights, Maybank said.

Earlier in 2026, Maybank announced that it is piloting tokenised ringgit for cross-border payments.

Maybank recently reported a 4.2% profit dip as it was hit by a lower trading income.
