CBA commits $97.4m to upgrade branch network in FY2027
It aims to make specialist support more accessible and convenient.
Commonwealth Bank of Australia will invest $97.39m (A$140m) in FY2027 to upgrade its bank branches across the country.
The bank says it will focus on making access to specialist support more convenient, as well as on making branch services more responsive and personal.
CBA has a network of over 600 bank branches, which it says is the largest in Australia. Of this, 281 are regional locations.
It also maintains over 1,700 ATMS, reportedly more than twice its nearest competitor.
Latest branch upgrades include $5m invested in Perth’s Hay Street flagship branch, and $6m invested in a Geelong branch.
CBA plans to continue deploying mobile ATMs in places affected by natural disasters.
