Maybank enhances security for Internet banking portal
Maybank has added enhanced security features to its Internet banking portal, Maybank2u.com.
Maybank Deputy President and Head of Community Financial Services Lim Hong Tat said the new features were related to the login process as well as selected transactions.
"These latest features will safeguard customers from being tricked by fraudulent activities such as short messaging services scams and phishing emails," he said.
He added the additional features were part of an ongoing programme to continuously enhance its Internet banking offering as well as protect customers from being misled by phishing scams.
