UnionBank to inject up to $15.96m into subsidiary City Savings Bank

The infusion is subject to regulatory approvals.

Union Bank of the Philippines is infusing an additional capital of up to $15.96m (PHP1b) in City Savings Bank, Inc., a subsidiary of the bank.

UnionBank’s board of directors approved the capital infusion in a meeting on 28 August 2026.

In a bourse filing, the Philippine-based bank said that it expects the capital to support City Savings Bank’s growth and ongoing business operations.

The infusion is subject to applicable regulatory approvals.
