MUFG Bank appoints head of institution investors coverage for Asia

Weehuizen has over 18 years of banking experience in APAC and Europe.

MUFG Bank has appointed Marius Weehuizen as head of institutional investors coverage, financial institutions, for Asia, the bank said in a press release.

Weehuizen reports to Frederic Cabay, global co-head of financial institutions (FI). 

He reportedly has over 18 years of banking experience in APAC and Europe, mostly in structures solutions, lending, and non-bank financial institutions and FI coverage roles.

He also has experience in integrating tailored product capabilities for fund finance and insurance finance in support of APAC clients, MUFG said.

Weehuizen will be based in Singapore.
