Singapore fundraising hits 6-year high despite 42% issue drop

Five local IPOs collected $878.1m and all debuted on Singapore exchanges.

Investment banks in Singapore handled $3.6b in equity and equity-related fundraising in the first half of 2026, up 7.4% from a year earlier and the strongest first-half total since 2020.

The total was the strongest first-half result since 2020, although the number of issues fell 41.9% year-on-year, according to the London Stock Exchange Group’s Deals Intelligence team.

Follow-on offerings by Singapore-domiciled companies raised $2.3b, the highest first-half total in seven years.

Five initial public offerings by Singapore companies raised $878.1m during the period, a 71.5% increase from a year earlier. All five companies listed on Singapore exchanges.

Two IPOs were completed in the second quarter, raising a combined $86.2m.

JustCo listed on the Singapore Exchange Mainboard, whilst Kin Global listed on SGX Catalist.

Real estate companies accounted for 85.6% of total equity capital market proceeds, raising $3.0b. The sector’s share was supported by real estate investment trust offerings, which made up six of the eight largest deals during the period.

High-technology companies raised $393.9m, representing an 11.1% market share, whilst healthcare companies accounted for 2.6% of total proceeds.

DBS Group Holdings ranked first in the Singapore-domiciled equity and equity-linked underwriting league table for the first six months of 2026, with $757.8m in related proceeds.
