Revolut taps banking, government veterans for Singapore advisory board
Former GXS Bank CEO Charles Wong joins three-member advisory panel.
UK-founded fintech Revolut has appointed banking and government veterans to its Singapore Advisory Board to support its local leadership on governance, regulatory engagement, business strategy, and sustainable growth.
The board comprises former Minister of State for Manpower and Trade & Industry Teo Ser Luck, former GXS Bank Singapore founding CEO Charles Wong, and governance and risk specialist Yvonne Aw.
Raymond Ng, CEO of Revolut Singapore and Southeast Asia, said the three bring deep expertise across public policy, banking, governance, and risk management.
“Their collective experience will strengthen local accountability and governance, whilst supporting our long-term growth and commitment to the high standards expected of a trusted financial institution,” Ng added.
Teo, a former minister of State, served as president of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants from 2022 to 2026 and is now an adviser to the organisation.
Meanwhile, Wong currently leads the Retail and Digital Banking practice for Asia at Simon-Kucher.
Before leading GXS Bank, he held senior roles at Citibank, including Managing Director and Head of Retail Banking Singapore.
Aw currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee at Sompo Insurance China. Her experience covers corporate governance, financial services, audit, and risk management.
